Smugmug is a paid photo sharing website which allows you to backup photos & videos, also organize, edit and share them to social networking sites. SmugMug has an integrated download tool which allows you to save a .zip file of all your galleries. And, it allows you to download original and high resolution copies of your photos. when you click 'Download All' option, Smugmug will create a .zip archive of your photo gallery. Once the .zip archive is created, you will get an email with a link from Smugmug. If you have make changes to the gallery since this download is generated, you can click the "Regenerate" button to generate a fresh download.

Following are the steps to Batch Download Photos from SmugMug:


  1. Go to http://www.smugmug.com/ & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
  2. Once you have signed into your account, click "Organize" button located at top of the window.
  3. You will see all your photo galleries.
  4. Select the photo gallery which you want to download.
  5. Click "Tools" option in the top menu bar.
  6. Select "Download All" option.
  7. SmugMug will start to create a .zip archive of your chosen gallery.
  8. You will see a message "Click the link below to download an archive of this gallery's images".
  9. Click "Done" button.
  10. Your photo gallery will now be downloaded to computer.

You can now install PicBackMan's SmugMug uploader for Mac from the website  and start backing up SmugMug Photos & videos.
