How to Add Photo Titles and Captions on SmugMug?

Photo titles and captions are ways to tell stories to your visitors about the photos you clicked. You can give an awesome (relevant) title to your photo and write a tale about it in the captions. Let’s find out how to add photo titles and captions on SmugMug to convey your photo clicking adventure to the world.

How to Add Photo Titles and Captions on SmugMug?

• In SmugMug style or in the Lightbox, add or edit caption by clicking ‘Caption’ or ‘Pencil’ icon under a photo.
• Or, select a photo from your gallery, and click the wrench icon, located at the bottom right of the image.
• Select ‘Open in Editor’, and then click ‘ Title, Captions and Keywords’.
• Here, give title and caption to your photo, and then click ‘Save’.
• Refresh the page to see your caption.

Do You Want to Put Same Captions to All Your Photos?

• Go to your ‘Organizer’.
• Select the photos you want to add similar captions to.
• Click the wrench icon in the header toolbar, and select ‘Title, Captions and Keywords’.
• You can add new caption to your photos or replace the existing one.

The photo titles cannot be added in bulk like the captions. Each photo needs to have different titles. And, a caption can be up to 65,000 characters long, so go ahead and tell your epic tale about the photography spree.
