Last Updated :Google Drive is cloud storage service and content sharing platform. Uploading a iMovie video to Google Drive on your iPad is easy. If you don’t already have the Google Drive app on your iPad, you will need to download it from the Apple App store. First you need to export the videos from iMovie to camera roll on your iPad. Open 'Google Drive' app and upload videos to Google Drive with simple steps. To find your newly uploaded video, tap 'My Drive and then 'Uploads' button located in the left sidebar in your Google Drive app. The video will be called something like 'Video DATE TIME.mov', not the name you gave it within your iMovie app. You can rename it within the Google Drive app.
Here are the steps to Upload iMovie Videos to Google Drive on iPad:
- Open "iMovie" on your iPad.
- Select the video which you want to upload.
- Tap "Export" icon located at the bottom on the screen.
- Choose "Camera Roll" option.
- Choose an export size from the pop-up menu.
- Exit "iMovie".
- Go to https://drive.google.com/ & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
- Download "Google Drive App" on your iPad from the Apple App store & launch it.
- Open "Google Drive App" on your iPad.
- Tap "+" button located at the top-right corner on the screen.
- Select "Upload Photos or Videos" option.
- Click "Camera Roll".
- A "Camera Roll" window opens up & select the videos which you want to upload.
- Click "Upload" button.
- All your videos will now be uploaded to Google Drive.
