How to share a photo album on an Android device?

Last Updated :

Organizing your photos into albums makes sharing easy. You can create an album for an event and then share it with friends and family.

Here's how you create albums:

  1. Go to the 'Photos' tab by tapping the image icon in the top toolbar.
  2. Select 'Camera Uploads' view at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap the checkmark icon in the top toolbar, or long press on a photo.
  4. Select photos and videos and tap the add to album icon. You can create a new album or add to an existing album.

Now share it with friends and family. Here's how:
  1. Find and open the album you want to share.
  2. Tap Share Album at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Select the way you'd like to share (such as email, text message, or social network) and fill in information as needed. Your recipients will get a link to view the album.

PicBackMan does exactly what it's supposed to. It's quick and efficient. It runs unobtrusively in the background and has done an excellent job of uploading more than 300GB of photos to 2 different services. After having lost a lot of personal memories to a hard drive crash, it's nice to know that my photos are safe in 2 different places.

LOVE this program! Works better than ANY other program out there that I have found to upload thousands of pictures WITH SUB-FOLDERS to SmugMug! Thank you so much for what you do! :) #happycustomer

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!
