How to Hide a Photo from Dropbox Carousel on Mobile?

Dropbox Carousel allows you to hide a single photo or multiple photo at a time. It will remain safely stored in your Dropbox. Once you hide photos, they will not appear in the Dropbox website's "Photos" tab or in your Carousel gallery. You can restore or delete your hidden photos. To do so, open your "Carousel" app and tap "Menu" i.e "3 horizontal lines" located at the top left corner on the screen. Tap "Hidden Photos & Videos" section and select the option which you want.

Steps to Hide a Photo from Dropbox Carousel on Android:

  1. Go to https://carousel.dropbox.com/app/timeline & sign in to your account.
  2. Download & install "Carousel by Dropbox" app on your Android phone from the Play store.
  3. Select a photo or group of photos to hide.
  4. Tap "3 Vertical dots" located at the bottom on the screen.
  5. Select "Hide" option.
  6. Your photo will now be hidden.

Steps to Hide a Photo from Dropbox Carousel on iPhone:

  1. Go to https://carousel.dropbox.com/app/timeline & sign in to your account.
  2. Download & install "Carousel by Dropbox" app on your iPhone from the Apple App store.
  3. Tap and select a photo or multiple photos which you want to hide.
  4. Tap "..." located at the bottom right corner on the screen.
  5. Select "Hide" option.
  6. Your photo will now be hidden.
