DedupeHow to Edit a Photo in an Album Shared by Others?
Last Updated :You must first import the photo into your library to edit a photo or video in an album someone else shared with you. If you make edits to the photo in your library, then that does not change the original photo in the shared album. Your edited photo appears in the 'Last Import' album. You can move the edited photo to another album. To move it, select it and click '+' sign located at the toolbar and choose 'Album'. You can create a new album or place the photo in an existing album to move edited photo.
Following are the steps to Edit a Photo in an Album Shared by Others:
- Open "Photos" app on your Mac.
- Click "Shared" located at the toolbar.
- Browse the photo which you want to edit.
- Double-click it and then click "Edit" button.
- Click "Import" button.
- Click "Edit" button.
- Make changes to the photo.
- Click "Done" button.

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!
