How to backup photos from iPhone 5 to Google Drive?

Google Drive is a cloud storage service by Google. Google Drive offer users 5GB of free storage space to store photos, videos and documents. Users can upgrade their free 5GB account to a paid monthly subscription plan for more storage space. Google Drive can work with any platform.

There are 2 ways to backup photos from iPhone 5 to Google Drive:

A. Backup photos from iPhone 5 to Google Drive via Google Drive App:

1. Go to https://drive.google.com & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.

2. If you have Google Drive App on your iPhone 5, launch it. Or else download it from the Apple App store.

3. Tap the "Google Drive App" on your iPhone 5.

4. Tap the "+" button located at the top right corner of the screen.

5. Select "Upload Photos or Videos" option.

6. Tap photos in your camera roll to upload it to Drive.

7. Click "Upload" button.

B. Backup photos from iPhone 5 to Google Drive via share button on your phone:

1. Go to your phone "Gallery" and select photo(s) or album(s) that you wish to upload.

2. Once selected, click share button and you will see a set of options to upload photos.

3. From the options, tap "Google Drive" icon. Your photo upload process will start.

4. The time taken to upload photos depends on your internet connection speed & the amount of photos you upload.

5. Once the process completes you will be prompted with a message that says "Upload Complete".
