Last Updated :There are two ways to send a file to in Gmail i.e. by attaching the file from your computer or by inserting a file into your message using Google Drive. If you want to send a large files, simplify collaboration or keep control over who sees your files, then you can insert a file using Google Drive instead of attaching a file.
Here are the steps to Insert Files using Google Drive in Gmail on Android:
- Tap "Menu" icon (3 gray dots or your device's menu button).
- Tap "Insert from Drive" button.
- Find and tap the file which you would like to attach.
- Tap "Select" button located in the bottom right corner on the screen.
- You will see the file in your message, inline.
- This way you can insert a file using Google Drive in Gmail on Android.

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!
