Last Updated :Depth of field refers to the range of distance that appears acceptably sharp. A wider depth-of-field means that nearly everything in the scene is always in focus. Whereas a narrow depth-of-field means that only the main subject in focus is sharp and rest all the things are blurred or out of focus.
The three main elements that help you control the depth of field are
- Aperture size
- Focal length
- Focus point
Focusing on a closer subject will give a narrow or less depth of field than when you focus on a subject at a distance. To achieve desired depth of field you can combine aperture and focal length to widen or reduce overall depth of field.

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!

PicBackMan was an answer to many a prayer. How can I get this MASSIVE collection of photos onto a service that cripples uploading? PicBackMan.
