1. Explore and find the right site

2. Posing requests
The couple witnessing the fireworks is a romantic moment, which you would not wish to miss capturing on. The challenge is capturing both the fireworks and your subjects. While trying to figure out the best way to capture them, make simple posing requests, which would help you, capture the moment skilfully.
3. Handling motion
It is best to have a tripod so that the camera once set is as motionless as possible. It would also be nice if you could remote operate or use a shutter release cable for your captures. Try and take some trial shots while setting up your camera, and then let the fire works capture begin!
4. Simple basics (ISO, Shutter speed)
Explore your camera settings for capturing the fireworks. A few basics could be kept in mind, setting a low ISO; the shutter could be kept open to capture entire bursts. Using a wide angle to capture your subjects. And trying to use the bulb mode could improve your shots.
5. Flash and Manual mode
For capturing the fireworks, it would be nice to use the manual focus and turn off the flash. It is also important to take a few trial shots to tweak your settings before you begin with your final captures.
