Last Updated :Dropbox's 'Link a Computer' feature is used to add a computer to your account via the iOS Dropbox app. It allows you to create an account and begin the connection process on your iPhone or iPad using a QR code reader.
Following are the steps to Add a Computer to Your Account via iOS App:
- Go to https://www.dropbox.com/ & sign in to your account.
- Download & install "Dropbox" app on your iOS device.
- Open "Dropbox" app.
- Select "Settings".
- Tap "Link a Computer".
- It will ask you that 'You are near the computer', if you are, tap "Yes".
- You will be prompted to navigate your computer’s browser to "dropbox.com/connect"
- You will see a QR code which is shaped like the Dropbox logo.
- Scan the code from within the app and the app will tell your computer’s browser to begin downloading the Dropbox installer.
- Install the app and it will configure itself with your account.

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!
