How to Transfer Photos from iPhone to Windows PC using iCloud?

There are several ways to transfer photos from iPhone to Windows PC. You can transfer iPhone photos to Windows PC by connecting an USB cable that came along with your iPhone or you can use iCloud or iTunes. Actually Windows 7 and Windows 8 don't need an extras software to transfer photos, they recognize the iPhone as a digital camera. If you are using iOS 8.1 or later version, then you can turn ON iCloud syncing to view your photos in any Web browser. Older versions do not support this method.

Here are the steps to Transfer Photos from iPhone to Windows PC using iCloud:

  1. Tap "Settings" on your iPhone.
  2. Tap "iCloud".
  3. Tap "Photos" tab.
  4. Move slider from left to right to turn ON "iCloud Photo Library". If you are using iOS 8.1 and 8.2, then the setting is labeled "iCloud Photo Library (Beta).
  5. Start Windows PC and Go to https://www.icloud.com/ & sign in to your account.
  6. Click "Photos".
  7. Open the photo which you want to transfer to your pC.
  8. Right-click a photo and choose "Save Image As" option in Chrome or Firefox, or choose "Save Picture As" option in Internet Explorer.
