Last Updated :Backing up photos and videos to Google Photos is easy. You just need to turn ON 'Back up & sync' feature after installing the app. If you turn it ON, you will see a message to allow the app to access your photos. To do so, open the iOS setting app and tap 'Privacy' and then 'Photos'. Switch 'Google Photos' ON.
Following are the steps to Turn ON Google Photos Back up and Sync on iOS Device:
- Open "Google Photos" app on your iOS Device.
- Tap "Menu" icon located at the top left corner on the screen.
- Select "Settings" option.
- Tap "Back up & Sync".
- Switch ON or OFF.

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!
