Last Updated :If you plugged in iPhoto to Mac computer and lost all your photos and messages, then you can get them back by restoring iPhone from a previous backup. You can check your backup in iTunes or restore your device from an iCloud. If you are looking for a step by step process to restore device from an iCloud backup, read below.
Following are the steps to Restore your iPhone from an iCloud Backup:
- Turn ON your iPhone.
- You will see a welcome screen. Slide the screen across bottom where it says "Slide to Set up".
- Choose your "Language" from the give choices.
- Select the "Country or region".
- Choose your Wi-Fi Network and enter password for it.
- Open "Location Service" screen and choose whether you would like to have location service ON by default.
- On the next screen, tap "Restore from iCloud Backup" and enter your credentials.
- A "Terms and Conditions" window opens up. Tap "Agree" button located at the bottom on the screen.
- You will be asked to verify that you agree to them a second time. Tap "Agree" button.
- A "Choose Backup" window opens up. You will see your iCloud Backups.
- Select a backup which you would like to restore.
