Last Updated :You can easily migrate photos from iPhoto Library to Google Photos on mac. To do so, you need to download and install "Google Photos Backup" desktop application on your Mac. When you open Google Photos, you will see all the folders located on your computer's hard drive. Choose "iPhoto Library" folder and click "Ok" button.
Following are the steps to Migrate Photos from iPhoto Library to Google Photos on Mac:
- Download and install "Google Photos Backup" desktop application on your Mac.
- Go to https://photos.google.com/ & sign in to your account.
- A "Google Photos Backup" window opens up. You can select folders from iPhoto Library, Photos Library, Picture folder and more.
- Click "iPhoto Library" folder.
- Go to "iPhoto Library" folder and right-click on it.
- Select "Show Package Contents" option.
- Click "Masters" folder.
- Here you will see Year wise folders, click on it, then click month wise folders and then date wise folders.
- Browse the photo folder and right-click on the folder which you want to migrate.
- Select "Make alias" option.
- Drag the alias to sidebar and click "Choose" button.
- Now you will see "Google Photos Backup" window.
- Click "Ok" button.
