You can easily share a photo or video with family and friends which located in a shared photo stream. If you edit the photos and videos, the newly edited photos and videos doesn not automatically appear in the shared photo stream. You can either add it to the existing photo stream along with the older version or you can delete the older version and replace it with the updated photos and videos. Here are the steps to Replace a Photo or Video in a Shared Photo Stream on Mac:
- Open "iPhoto" on your Mac.
- Select "iCloud" located in the "Source List".
- Double-click and open the shared stream containing the photos and videos which you want to replace.
- Select the photo or video which you want to replace.
- Click "Delete" button.
- A dialog box appears, click "Delete" button.
- Select "Events" located in the "Source List".
- Double-click the event containing the updated photos and videos.
- Select the updated photos and videos.
- Click "Share" button or "Add" button located in the toolbar.
- Click "iCloud" and then shared photo stream that contained the photos and videos which you want to replace.
- Type a comment and click "Publish" button.
- This is how you can remove a photo or video in a shared photo stream on Mac.
