Last Updated :You can easily add photos from your shared stream into Photos library on Mac. You need to turn ON the Sidebar in Photos app. To turn ON sidebar, open "Photos" app and tap "View" menu bar and then select "Show Sidebar" option. Browse to your shared stream and select the photos which you want to add. Drag the photos from shared stream to the "Photos" entry in the sidebar. This way you can add photos from your shared stream to your Photos library. If you have enabled "iCloud Photo Library, then they will also sync with your iCloud Photo Library.

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!

PicBackMan was an answer to many a prayer. How can I get this MASSIVE collection of photos onto a service that cripples uploading? PicBackMan.
