iCloud allows you to backup photos, contacts, calendars and mails to your iCloud account. You can easily access your data from iCloud to your Mac. To access iCloud sync settings on your Mac, click 'Apple' icon located at the top left corner on Mac. Select 'System Preferences' option. Click 'iCloud' from the system Preferences window. Check mark the iCloud services which you would like to enable. You can select the check box for Photos (or Photo Stream), Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Notes, Keychains, Documents in the cloud. If you want to access iCloud photos on Mac, then click the 'Options' button located in front of 'Photos' and make sure that My Photo Stream is selected.
