“Your pictures are scattered. PicBackMan helps you bring order to your digital memories.”
For clicking photos of amazing food, technique and skill will only get you far enough to get normal pictures. But if you want your photos to be great and of the highest quality, then it will be wise to invest in some gadgets that will help you shoot like a professional.
First of all, buy a good camera, whether a digital Point and Shoot or a DSLR. Though the quality of camera phones has increased many folds recently, but still buy a proper camera if you are serious about food photography. And while you are buying a camera, get hold of a good camera bag to protect your equipment.
Here are some other gadgets that will help you in clicking fantastic food photos.
Tripod. One of the basic requirements, to prevent motion blur so that your photos are crisp and sharp.
A flash bounce or diffuser. Direct flash is too harsh. With the right amount of diffusion, you can take flash photos that don’t even look like they were shot with flash, especially when you are not shooting in natural light.
A camera holder: It lets you wear your DSLR on your belt, keeping your camera safely out of harm’s way and handy for use.
Shutter triggers. The iOShutter lets you set off your DSLR’s shutter via sound, motion triggers et al. Helpful for when your hands are at work while cooking.
A phone stand: A pretty useful accessory when it's a camera phone you are using, and not a fancy camera. When you’re not using as a tripod, you can use it as a stand for reading recipes on your phone.
A gray card or white balance lens cap. Set a custom white balance to measure the temperature of the light that you’re shooting in. It’ll make your shots look more like they were shot in natural lighting.

PicBackMan does exactly what it's supposed to. It's quick and
efficient. It runs unobtrusively in the background and has done an excellent job
of uploading more than 300GB of photos to 2 different services. After having lost a lot
of personal memories to a hard drive crash, it's nice to know that my photos are safe in 2 different
places.

LOVE this program! Works better than ANY other program out
there that I have found to upload thousands of pictures WITH SUB-FOLDERS to SmugMug! Thank you so
much for what you do! :) #happycustomer

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked -
all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the
process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was
a breeze. Thank you!

I started with the basic plan, went to premium and now on their platinum plan
and it's more than worth the price for me. PicBackMan has saved me many tedious hours of
effort moving many files between my various cloud and photo site services and my local
computers.

I am very satisfied and surprised at the same time with Pic
BackMan. The service is very good and useful. I used it to transfer my photos from
Dropbox to my Flickr accound. I highly recomment it.

PicBackMan was an answer to many a prayer. How can I get this MASSIVE
collection of photos onto a service that cripples uploading? PicBackMan. I uploaded
approximately 85,000 photos in less than a month. It would have taken me close to a year
to get all of those photos where they needed to go. Nothing short of brilliant.
