Instagram has a "Save Original Photos" setting which allows you to save high-resolution versions of your photos to your phone after you upload photos to Instagram.
To use it, you need to turn it ON from your Account Settings. If you are facing issues while saving photos to your phone, then make sure that you have turned ON the "Save Original Photos" setting on your phone.
Also, make sure that you are using the latest version of the Instagram app. You can save filtered photos to the camera roll after they have been uploaded to Instagram.
If your photos are not saving after turning ON the setting "Save Original Photos", then make sure that you have enough storage space on your phone. To check storage space on an Android phone, tap the "Settings" app and then tap "Storage".
If you are using iPhone, then tap the "General" tab and then "About". You will see the amount of space available on your mobile phone. Even if you are getting the same issue, then restart your mobile and try it again.
