What is 'BONK' error on Flickr Upload Page?

When uploading photos & videos to Flickr fails, you get a 'BONK' error message. There could be various reasons behind failed uploads. It could be

  • because of a corrupt photo or video file,
  • because of un-supported file type,
  • connection time out etc.
Update : Flickr recently made some changes to its free account that makes it difficult for users to bulk upload or auto upload photos unless they upgrade to a Pro subscription.
