Wedding photography tips for the Mother of the Groom

Weddings are perfect occasions for the family to get-together and join in a celebration of a lifetime. It is pure joy and a humbling experience for the Mother of the Groom to see her little boy finally as a gorgeous Groom. For that happiest day of her life, the Mother of the Groom has a lot to do, right from the time the wedding is announced. Every Mom wishes to indulge and here are a few tips to make it more easy for her:

1. Be involved and contribute to the idea

Every Mother wishes to indulge in every activity of the wedding. While it is important to indulge, it is more important to be involved. Catch up with the Couple’s expectations and wishlists. Have a dialog and figure out how you could contribute best. As a Mother you could have your own outlook and perspective, it is nice to share and communicate. Remember the heart of a successful wedding event is being open, communicating, listening intently and making the process as smooth as possible.

2. Planning is the key

There is so much to do for the Wedding and best thing is to get started by making checklists and planning the event as intricately as possible. Mom’s are excellent managers; they just know how to go about with things. And who else will know the core of her little boy than the Mother of the Groom. Keeping the couple at the centre of everything, start planning for the wedding event, guest lists, the venue, the wedding photographer etc. Plan immaculately, and you will see good end results.

3. Comfortable

Try and get to know each other’s families and this will create a joyous comfort zone. The more comfortable the families are with each other, the more stress-free it is for the Couple.  The Mother of the Groom could try and make the Bride comfortable and take initiatives on planning for gifts and small niceties, which will go a length in making the ceremony a memorable one.

4.  Be Accommodative

Any streaks of competitiveness will not help, the couple needs blessings from friends and families and being supportive will enable fostering a grand relationship.  Being accommodative and trying and getting the full family together for the wedding event, is a task but a happy one and Mother’s are the drivers to this.   

5. Wedding Blues and Hues

Wedding is all about a positive aura for the Couple a magical spread of colors. The Mother of the Groom could try and get insights on the Bride’s attire and also share details with the Mother of the Bride, it is nice to have a semblance of hues for the wedding day. The attire and adornments are a photographers delight; remember to focus on colors and fabrics for the season. Wedding blues could easily be avoided, remember to be around for the Couple, be calm and composed and enjoy the ceremony.
