Last Updated :Falling in love during sunset is easy than at any other time of the day. It gives a soothing and relaxing feeling when you look at sun taking the final dip in the ocean. To make a creative sunset picture, you need a little knowledge about the light. So, here are some tips to help you take stunning pictures of that stunning sunset.
- Get in the right place before the right time. Explore the location, move around as much as you can and find the perfect place and angle to photograph a sunset.
- There are n number of compositions you can play with experiment as much as you can. Make it a general practice and once you find out the best composition to work, go ahead and start photographing sunsets.
- Reflection is one of the most creative sunset photography idea. Use reflections off bodies of water etc. Get down as low to the water as you can (dare) or do exactly the opposite. Go to a high angle and photograph an entirely different reflection. Try making a near-symmetrical picture with the actual sunset and its reflection in the water.
- Sunsets are best for silhouettes. Look for interesting subject to create a stunning silhouette. Trees, branches, birds, people, or anything else against the sky or the sun can be a good subject for the silhouette.
- If you want to cover a large part of sky during the sunset, then try 'Panorama'. Take several photos of the sky from all angles possible and then put them together to create a marvelous sunset picture.
- Experiment with whatever you can. The more photos you take, the more improvement you will see in your pictures.
