Don't Use Flash Indoors : With some settings here and there in your camera you can ditch the flash while shooting picture indoor. A bright flash can look harsh and unnatural in indoor photography. Your photos look too bright and over exposed when you capture them with a Flash. With a higher ISO setting ( ISO 800 to 1600) you can make a big difference. A higher ISO setting will allow more light to enter the camera sensors. Choose the Right ISO : ISO represents the measure of a digital camera sensor’s sensitivity to light. It is measured in numbers like 100, 200, 400, 800 1600 etc. The lower the number the lower the sensitivity. Lower ISO ensures fine pictures and high ISO will give you a grainy picture. Experiment with Shutter Speed: Your shutter speed amount of time the sensor is exposed to light. Or in simple words, it is the amount of time that the shutter is open. The speed is measured in seconds and fractions of it. For example 1/2000 of a second is very fast and 8′ seconds is extremely slow. The fast speed freeze subjects in midair whereas slow speed can be used to blur water. Capture depth: Use a wide angle lens for a panoramic view. And a small aperture (f/16) to keep background and foreground sharp. A narrow aperture ensures that everything in a picture is in focus.The aperture controls the depth of the image / field.
