To err is human. Likewise, in digital photography also there are a certain mistake and problem that are quite normal to occur. The job of a photographer is to catch the exact impression of the environment in which he or she is working in one picture. The trick lies in to pay attention to all the minute details. However, even after taking care of each and every possible aspect, sometimes the mistakes do occur.
There are a number of common mistakes that can occur in digital photography. Some of them are as summarized below:
Blurry Pictures:
The most-common problem that a digital photographer has to face is that their images have come out blurry. This usually occurs due to low light conditions. This problem can be simply solved by using a tripod or monopod and by using proper ISO settings for faster shutter speeds.Using Wide Angle Lens for Portraits:
Using a wide angle lens setting while taking portrait images would result in a distorting effect which can ruin your photo to say the least. Instead, you should zoom into the Telephoto end of your lens to flatten the perspective, resulting in much more attractive images and pictures. Not using a focal point:
Your photos cannot be all background. They should have a focal point which can create interest in your photo among the viewers. This focal point can be anything from a simple log, boat or a tree. Any photo needs to have a subject in it.Lens Flare:
This is a common problem when shooting in light. This usually occurs when there are dust particles or marks on your camera lens. Always make sure that your lens and filters are clean.Digital Noise:
This refers to those unsightly speckles on your images. These can lower the quality of your photo to a great extent. These are commonly caused due to higher ISO settings. Noise also appears more during night time. This noise can be avoided by using a tripod and choosing the lowest possible ISO setting.
All these errors are common to occur, and a photographer should never lose his or her heart on occurrence of these mistakes, rather they should keep going a bit longer to get the desired effects in their pictures.
