Last Updated :An Instagram story is a new exciting feature which provides Instagram users with a place to share posts at a higher frequency. Instagram Stories allows you to share the little moments that may not be as picture-perfect. Those who are aware of Snapchat may find many similarities between Instagram Stories and Snapchat. Stories live in a separate space i.e. they do not appear on your Instagram profile page. So you can post as frequently as you want without flooding your friends' feeds.
Here's how you can use it:
- Tap the plus sign in the upper left corner of your screen (near your profile picture) to get started.
- Take your photo by tapping the big round button, or take a video by pressing down for up to 10 seconds.
- If you want to add text or emojis to your photo, tap the 'Edit' icon (little pencil) Or the 'text icon' located at the top-right corner of your screen.
- If you select the 'Edit Pencil' icon, then select one of the three pen type options to doodle on your photo, add an emoji using your keyboard, or swipe right to select a simple color filter.
- When you're done, tap the checkmark icon to share. Your 'Story' will appear at the top of your friends' feeds. It'll also be visible on your profile page by tapping your profile picture.
- Once your Story is live, you can save your masterpiece by opening it and tapping the three dots on the bottom right, then selecting "Save Photo."
- Check out who saw your Story by swiping up when viewing the photo or video.

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!

PicBackMan was an answer to many a prayer. How can I get this MASSIVE collection of photos onto a service that cripples uploading? PicBackMan.
