How to Upload Photos to Picasa Web Using 'Email Upload'?

Picasa is a digital photo organizing & photo sharing website. Picasa was originally created by a company named 'Lifescape'in 2002 & is now owned by Google since 2004. Picasa allows you to backup photos & videos, organize, edit and share them online. Picasa has an "Email Upload" feature which allows you to upload photos to Picasa web using a secret email address which is created by Picasa. When you are uploading photos via email, you can use email "Subject" line to add captions or to add the photos in a specific album. If the email "Subject" line matches an existing online album title, your photos will be uploaded to that album. Otherwise the 'Subject' line will instead be added as a caption and the photos will be uploaded into the Drop Box album. This feature is useful when you are uploading photos from your mobile device.

Following are the steps to Upload Photos to Picasa Web Using 'Email Upload':

1. Go to https://picasaweb.google.com/ & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
2. Click "Gear icon" located at the top right corner of the window.
3. Select "Settings" option.
4. Click "General" tab.
5. In the "Upload photos by email" section, select the "Allow me to upload photos by email".
6. Enter a "secret word". The secret word must be 6-15 letters/digits long.
7. As soon as you enter this word, you will get an email address.
8. Click "Save changes" button.
9. To email upload your photos, just attach them to an email message and send it to the newly-created address.
10. All your photos will now be uploaded to Picasa web.
