Put the camera in Shutter Priority mode
It places an emphasis on shutter speed. Shutter priority is the best mode to use if your objective is to get clear and sharp pictures.

Set the shutter speed to 1/1000

Setting a fast shutter speed helps you freeze the action. It also minimizes the chances of clicking a blurred picture. This means the photo that the camera captures will show what was happening in that one one-thousandth of a second.

Change the focus mode to AF-C on or “continuous focus.”

Changing the focus mode from manual focus to auto focus- continues, allows you track and determine movement of the subject.

Set the shooting mode to High Speed Continuous

Shooting in 'High Speed Continuous' mode allows you take multiple shots of the same action. Later you can choose to select the best one from them. In High Speed Continuous mode, the speed at which the camera takes the pictures is much faster. Certain cameras can take as many as 8 photos per second.

Change the Focus Point

Changing the focus point from manual focus to auto focus does impact you pictures. Auto focus is best to use in action photography as it automatically keeps you subject in focus. Whereas, manual focus generally keeps your subject in the middle of the frame. Manuals select zone will change the focus to concentrate on the middle of the frame.
