Last Updated :Box is a cloud storage service which is useful to store photos, videos and any kind of file. It allows you to share photos, videos and files with friends and colleagues, leave comments on others photos and videos, and get notification when others done changes. It supports the following video file extensions: '3g2', '3gp', 'avi', 'm2v', 'm2ts', 'm4a', 'm4v', 'mkv', 'mov', 'mp4', 'mpeg', 'mpg', 'off' 'qt'. Flick is a photo and video sharing website which is useful to backup photos and videos. Flickr also allows you leave comments on others photos and videos. It supports the follwing video file extensions: .mov (AVID or other proprietary codecs may not work), .mp4 (recommended with H.264), .avi, .wmv, .mpeg (1, 2 and 4), .3gp, .m2ts, .ogg, .ogv.
Here are the steps to Move Videos from Flickr to Box:
- Go to https://www.flickr.com/ & sign in to your account.
- Click "You" button located at the top of the window.
- You will see all your photos & videos.
- Click the video, you will see it in full size.
- Click "..." (3 horizontal dots) located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Select "Download original file" option.
- Your browser prompts you to save .zip file, then click "Save" and specify a location to download. The downloaded zip file will contain the video from the Flickr.
- Your video will now be downloaded to computer.
- Go to https://www.box.com/ & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
- Click "New..." button located at left side of the window.
- Select "New Folder" option. Specify a folder name for your video album.
- Click "Okay" button.
- Click on the folder you created. You will see an empty folder at the moment. It is because you haven't uploaded anything here yet.
- Click "Upload" button located left side of the screen to upload videos to this folder.
- Select "Upload File" option.
- A "File upload" window opens up. Select the videos which you want to upload.
- Once your files are successfully uploaded, you will be prompted with a message that says "Upload complete".
- You have another option to upload the videos i.e "Drag-and-drop". Here you can simply drag your videos directly from your computer to a location in your Box account.
- This is how you can move videos from Flickr to Box.

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!
