How to Make Sure that iOS Device Backs Up Regularly to iCloud?

There are two ways to backup iOS device to your iCloud account i.e 'Automatically' and 'Manually'. You can easily set your iOS device to backup automatically. To set up, tap 'Settings' on your iOS device and tap 'iCloud'. Tap 'Storage & Backup' and move the slider from left to right to turn ON 'iCloud Backup'. After turning ON 'iCloud Backup', iCloud automatically backs up your iOS device daily. iCloud allows you to backup daily if your device is connected to a power source or the device is connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi connection or your device's screen is locked.

If you want to backup your iOS device to iCloud manually, then connect the device to a power source. Make sure you are connected to the Internet using Wi-Fi connection. Tap 'Settings' on your iOS device and tap 'iCloud'. Scroll down and tap 'Storage & Backup'. Move the slider from left to right to turn ON "iCloud Backup". Tap 'Back Up Now' to backup your iOS device to iCloud manually.
