How to Insert Files using Google Drive in Gmail on Android?

There are two ways to send a file to in Gmail i.e. by attaching the file from your computer or by inserting a file into your message using Google Drive. If you want to send a large files, simplify collaboration or keep control over who sees your files, then you can insert a file using Google Drive instead of attaching a file.

Here are the steps to Insert Files using Google Drive in Gmail on Android:

  1. Tap "Menu" icon (3 gray dots or your device's menu button).
  2. Tap "Insert from Drive" button.
  3. Find and tap the file which you would like to attach.
  4. Tap "Select" button located in the bottom right corner on the screen.
  5. You will see the file in your message, inline.
  6. This way you can insert a file using Google Drive in Gmail on Android.
