Instagram is a photo sharing app which was acquired by Facebook, which means that you can find and follow your Facebook friends and phone contacts who are already on Instagram. Instagram automatically suggests you follow your Facebook friends & phone contacts. However, if it doesn't, follow the process below:

On Android Phone
  1. Go to your profile and tap the button with three vertical dots in the top right. Tap “Find Friends” and then choose to find friends from Facebook, from Instagram, suggested users, or from your phone’s contact list.
  2. Tap “follow” next to users whose posts you’d like to see in your feed.
On iPhone
  1. Go to your profile and tap the gear in the top right. Tap “Find People to Follow” to choose to find friends from Facebook, from Instagram, suggested users, or from your phone’s contact list.
  2. Tap “follow” next to users whose posts you’d like to see in your feed. In the Windows Phone app, go to your profile and tap the icon with three horizontal dots in the bottom right. Tap settings, then select “Find and Invite Friends.” From there, tap “Follow your friends” to find friends from Facebook or from your contact list. Tap “Suggested Users” to find others whose posts you might like, and tap “follow” next to users whose posts you’d like to see in your feed.
Find people to follow through the Explore tab
  1. Tap the magnifying glass icon.
  2. Tap “Photos” to see photos and videos that people whom you follow have liked or that a large number of Instagram users have liked.
  3. Tap “People” to see accounts that you might like, based on whom you follow, whom you’re connected to, and what photos and videos you like on Instagram.
Another way to find other users is to search for people or hashtags on Instagram.
  1. Using the search bar at the top of 'Search & Explore', choose whether you’re looking for users or hashtags.
  2. You can search for people by their name or their Instagram username.

PicBackMan does exactly what it's supposed to. It's quick and efficient. It runs unobtrusively in the background and has done an excellent job of uploading more than 300GB of photos to 2 different services. After having lost a lot of personal memories to a hard drive crash, it's nice to know that my photos are safe in 2 different places.

LOVE this program! Works better than ANY other program out there that I have found to upload thousands of pictures WITH SUB-FOLDERS to SmugMug! Thank you so much for what you do! :) #happycustomer

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!

PicBackMan was really easy to setup and has been running for 3 days now backing up all my locally saved photos to Flickr. My photos are really valuable to me so it's great to be able to have them easily backed up to a secure location.

It's AWESOME!! I have tens of thousands of pictures...and they are now successfully uploaded to SmugMug, where they are safely backed up, and I can edit and organize them. If you are hesitating about using PicBackMan, hesitate no longer...try it...and you'll be glad you did!!
