Picasa Web Albums allows you to backup photos to the web directly from iPhoto, Picasa or by using upload button. It allows you to download videos to Mac from Picasa Web Album with simple steps. There are 3 options to download videos from Picasa Web. You can download individual videos or multiple selected videos or an entire album.
There are two ways to Download Videos from Picasa web to Mac Machine i.e. the PicBackMan way and the other is from the Picasa web directly.
Following are the steps to Download Videos from Picasa web to Mac (If you have signed up for Google+):
A. The PicBackMan way
- On Accounts tab, associate your Google Photos/Picasa accounts.
- Go to Migrate tab and click on ‘Choose Account to Migrate’ button. Now select Google Photos/Picasa from the dropdown list of associated accounts and click save.
- In order to download photos to your Mac computer, select the check box corresponding to 'My Computer' icon.
- Now click ‘Migrate’ button that you see at the bottom of the window.
- All your Google Photos/Picasa videos will now be downloaded on your Mac machine.
- Go to https://plus.google.com/ & sign in to your account.
- Picasa offers you 3 options to download your videos.
a) You can download individual videos : If you want to download the individual videos, select the video from the album. Your video will open in full size. Click "More" button located at top of the window & select "Download" option. Your browser prompts you to save .zip file, then click "Save" and specify a location to download. The downloaded zip file will contain the video from the album.
b) You can download multiple selected videos from the album : If you want to download multiple selected videos from the album, select the videos which you want to download from the album. A checkmark will appear on each selection. Click "More" button located at top of the window & select "Download" option. Your browser prompts you to save .zip file, then click "Save" and specify a location to download. The downloaded zip file will contain the multiple selected videos from the album.
c) You can download the entire album : If you want to download the entire album, click "Dropdown arrow" located on the right side of the window, next to "Share" button. Your browser prompts you to save .zip file, then click "Save" and specify a location to download. The downloaded zip file will contain all the videos from the album. - Select any ('a' or 'b' or 'c') one of the options listed above.

PicBackMan was an answer to many a prayer. How can I get this MASSIVE collection of photos onto a service that cripples uploading? PicBackMan.
