How to download photos from Google Drive to your computer?

Google Drive is a cloud storage service from Google. Google Drive is the best cloud storage option. Google offers you 5GB of free storage space, which is pretty useful for storing photos, videos, and documents. You can upgrade your free 5 GB account to a paid monthly subscription plan for more storage space.

Google Drive offers 100GB space for $1.99/month and 30TB space for $299.99/month. Google drive allows you to manually download photos to a different location on your computer. The maximum download file size is 2 GB. If the file size is larger than 2 GB, you will see a message with a list of files that are not included in the zip file.

Here are the steps to download photos from Google Drive to your computer:

  1. Go to https://drive.google.com & sign in to your account.
  2. Click the checkbox(es) next to the photos that you wish to download.
  3. "Right click" the selected photos, select "Download" option. Your browser prompts you to save .zip file, click "Save" and specify a location to download. The downloaded zip file will contain the photos you selected.

PicBackMan does exactly what it's supposed to. It's quick and efficient. It runs unobtrusively in the background and has done an excellent job of uploading more than 300GB of photos to 2 different services. After having lost a lot of personal memories to a hard drive crash, it's nice to know that my photos are safe in 2 different places.

LOVE this program! Works better than ANY other program out there that I have found to upload thousands of pictures WITH SUB-FOLDERS to SmugMug! Thank you so much for what you do! :) #happycustomer

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!
