How to download all your Google Photos at Once?

You probably know that Google Photos desktop uploader is a one way client i.e. it only allows you to upload and you can’t directly download all your Google photos to your desktop in one go. it. If you want to download all your photos stored in Google Photos to your desktop at once, there are two ways to do it. Either you can do it using (https://takeout.google.com/settings/takeout) Google Takeout or via PicBackMan. Both the process are easy and will help you download all your Google photos

Using Google Takeout :

  1. Log in to your Google account and go to the Google Takeout  page.

  2. Select “Google Photos” and select the albums you’d like to download. 
  3. Now you can download all the media as a ZIP file without having to select each individual photo in the Google Photos gallery.

  4. The Zip files is saved on your desktop.

Using PicBackMan:

  1. Download and install PicBackMan. Register your account.

  2. Open the PicBackMan Desktop app and log in (if you are not).
  3. On Accounts tab, associate your Google Photos/Picasa account.

  4. Go to Migrate tab and click on ‘Choose Account to Migrate’ button. Now select Picasa from the dropdown list of associated accounts and click save.

  5. In order to migrate photos to your computer, select the check box corresponding to ‘My computer’ icon.
