How to copy or move photos to a new album on Picasa web?

Picasa is a digital photo & video organizer designed to organize and edit digital photos and videos. Picasa allows you to organize, edit and share photos online. Photos you upload to Google+ will be automatically resized to 2048 pixels and stored for free. You can copy or move photos from one web album to another with a few simple steps.

There are 2 ways to copy or move photos to a new album on Picasa web:


A) When viewing all photos in an album:

  1. Go to https://picasaweb.google.com/ & sign in to your account.
  2. Once you have signed into your account, Select an album.
  3. Click "Organize" button located at the top of the photos.
  4. Select the photos you wish to copy or move. To select multiple photos, hold the Ctrl key while selecting photos.
  5. Click the Copy or Move button, depending on your preference.
  6. Enter the Title, Date and details for a new album or click choose an existing album.
  7. Click "Continue" button.

B) When viewing individual photos:

  1. Go to https://picasaweb.google.com/ & sign in to your account.
  2. Once you have signed into your account, Select a photo from an album.
  3. Click "Actions" button located at the top of the photo.
  4. Select "Copy to another album" or "Move to another album", depending on your preference.
  5. Enter the Title, Date and details for a new album or click choose an existing album.
  6. Click "Continue" button.
