Picasa is an image organizing & photo sharing website. Picasa is a good place to backup photos & videos. It is easy to use and is accessible from anywhere in the world. If you have a Google account, you can directly access picasa. Picasa Web has a video upload limit. Uploading videos upto 15 minutes or less is free. You can easily download original video files form Picasa web albums to your computer without installing anything. There are two ways to download Picasa albums to your computer i.e. via PicBackMan and the other  from the Picasa Web.

A. Using PicBackMan:
  1. On Accounts tab, associate your Picasa account.
  2. Go to Migrate tab and click on ‘Choose Account to Migrate’ button. Now select Picasa from the dropdown list of associated accounts and click save.
  3. In order to download photos to your computer, select the check box corresponding to 'My Computer' icon.
  4. Now click ‘Migrate’ button that you see at the bottom of the window.
  5. All your Picasa photos will now be downloaded on your computer.
B. Using The Picasa Web:
  1. Go to https://picasaweb.google.com/ & sign in to your account.
  2. Click your account name and then click "Account" located at right corner of the window.
  3. Click "Data tools".
  4. Click "Select data to download".
  5. Click "Create archive" button to configure your data archive.
  6. Click "Select all".
  7. Click "Create archive" button.
  8. You will see a message "We're preparing your archive & We will email you when the archive is ready to download".
  9. Click "Download" button.
  10. You will see an option to download archived file and when you will open it, you will see all the photos and original videos inside it.
