How to Add Photos to Dropbox on iPhone?

Dropbox provides online backups automatically for photos, videos and files in the Dropbox account. Dropbox has a "File Sync" feature which allows you to sync all your devices with your Dropbox account. Once you added photos and videos, they will sync with your Dropbox account on your computer and all other devices. Dropbox allows you to add other types of files by using the iOS 'Open In' menu. To do this, open iOS email app, go to the email and then tap the file name. Tap arrow icon located at the top right corner on the screen. Select 'Open in Dropbox' option. When you tap this option your file will open in Dropbox. Tap 'Save' button and rename the file and then select a specific location to save it.

Here are the steps to Add Photos to Dropbox on iPhone:

  1. Go to & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
  2. Download "Dropbox App" on your iPhone from the Apple App store & launch it.
  3. Tap "DropBox app" on your iPhone.
  4. Tap the ellipsis "..." icon located at the top right corner on the screen to get a deop-down menu.
  5. Tap "Upload (+)" option from the menu.
  6. Tap "Camera Roll" option.
  7. A "Camera Roll" window opens up & choose the photos which you wish to upload.
  8. Click "Upload" button.
  9. Your photos will now be added to DropBox.

PicBackMan does exactly what it's supposed to. It's quick and efficient. It runs unobtrusively in the background and has done an excellent job of uploading more than 300GB of photos to 2 different services. After having lost a lot of personal memories to a hard drive crash, it's nice to know that my photos are safe in 2 different places.

LOVE this program! Works better than ANY other program out there that I have found to upload thousands of pictures WITH SUB-FOLDERS to SmugMug! Thank you so much for what you do! :) #happycustomer

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!

It's AWESOME!! I have tens of thousands of pictures...and they are now successfully uploaded to SmugMug, where they are safely backed up, and I can edit and organize them. If you are hesitating about using PicBackMan, hesitate no longer...try it...and you'll be glad you did!!
