How do Photos Work in Dropbox for Business?

Last Updated :

Dropbox is available for both personal and business use. It allows you to upload photos, videos and files to your Dropbox account and share them with others. It has 'Camera Upload' feature, which is used to automatically backup photos and videos to your account. This Camera Upload feature is available for personal Dropboxes only. The Camera Upload is working for both mobile devices and computers. If prior to April 9, 2014, you used Camera Upload in Dropbox for Business. You just need to enable Camera Upload in your personal Dropbox to backup photos and videos automatically. You can also individually select the photos which you would like to upload to Dropbox for Business account instead of using the Camera Upload feature. You can control your files which you would like to upload and organize them into the folders. By doing this you can keep personal and business work separate.

You can connect your both personal and business Dropbox accounts. After connecting your accounts, you will be able to choose screenshots from your computer and it will automatically saved to your personal Dropbox account or business account. When you take your 1st screenshot, Dropbox will ask you to select an account where you want to save the photos.

If you are using your personal Dropbox account, you will see your photos on 'Photos' page located on the website. You can access your photos in Dropbox for business through this link https://www.dropbox.com/work.

If you want to move photos between your personal Dropbox account to business account through the 'Dropbox Desktop Application', then the photos will transfer but not the albums in which they may have stored.

PicBackMan does exactly what it's supposed to. It's quick and efficient. It runs unobtrusively in the background and has done an excellent job of uploading more than 300GB of photos to 2 different services. After having lost a lot of personal memories to a hard drive crash, it's nice to know that my photos are safe in 2 different places.

LOVE this program! Works better than ANY other program out there that I have found to upload thousands of pictures WITH SUB-FOLDERS to SmugMug! Thank you so much for what you do! :) #happycustomer

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!
