Okay, so you have an interest in photography and have been looking for tips to photograph parks. Parks, the green spaces of our city, town and localities are a haven for many many aspiring photographers like you and me. Whenever, we take a walk down the park, carry a compact digital camera along with you. Like Wayne Gretzky (Author of Playing With Fire) said "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." Never miss an opportunity to click. There is no need to carry along all your camera accessories when you visit a park. Just the camera is sufficient to capture moments, kids playing, flowers, and all the other activity that going on. The perfect time to capture flowers and foliage is an overcast day, when the light is diffused. And there is nothing like clicking pictures of trees and plants after the rain. They look better, they look greener and they look just perfect. Parks are also a good place to spot a squirrel and photographing them is even more exciting. These cute little animals are actually very fast and quick. Sometime it becomes challenging to photograph them. In such cases, make sure you maintain a safe distance without disturbing them. If the park (you are visiting) has a pond, stream or lake, find something that you can photograph. A flower in the pond, a duck in the lake or anything. If it is a busy park, there should be plenty of kids playing around. Photographing them in action is another idea you can think of. Snap people walking around ( ask for permission before you click them).
