How to View Photos in My Photo Stream on Windows PC?

Last Updated :

With My Photo Stream, you can access the recent photos that you take with your iPhone or iPad, on Windows PC and Mac. You need to download "iCloud for Windows" application on your Windows PC and turn ON "Photos". iCloud for Windows creates a "Photos" folder in File Explorer which is called as "iCloud Photos". If you are using Windows 8.1, go to Start screen and click "Down arrow" icon located at the bottom left corner of the window and then click "iCloud Photos" app to view your photos. If you are using Windows 8, go to Start screen and select "iCloud Photos" option to view the photos. If you are using Windows 7, click Windows Start button and click "Pictures". Click "iCloud Photos" or "Photo Stream" located under the "Favorites" menu in the panel and double-click "My Photo Stream" to view your photos.

PicBackMan does exactly what it's supposed to. It's quick and efficient. It runs unobtrusively in the background and has done an excellent job of uploading more than 300GB of photos to 2 different services. After having lost a lot of personal memories to a hard drive crash, it's nice to know that my photos are safe in 2 different places.

LOVE this program! Works better than ANY other program out there that I have found to upload thousands of pictures WITH SUB-FOLDERS to SmugMug! Thank you so much for what you do! :) #happycustomer

I pointed PicBackMan at a directory structure, and next time I looked - all the photos had uploaded! Pretty cool. I use SmugMug and while I really like it, the process of creating directories in is pretty laborious when you need to make 80+ at a time. This was a breeze. Thank you!
