How to Use iPhoto to Publish your Photos on the Web?

There are several ways to publish your photos and video clips on the web using iPhoto. You can publish your photos from iPhoto to Facebook, Flickr, on Twitter, using messages and on you own.

Publish your Photos to Facebook using iPhoto:

iPhoto allows you to use multiple Facebook accounts to publish your photos. You can publish your photos directly from iPhoto to a Facebook album or your timeline. You can add your Facebook friends in your photo using 'Faces' feature. You just need to add their Facebook email addresses before publishing. If you publish photos using 'Faces' feature, your friends will get an email notification when you post new photos. If your friends add tags to your Facebook photo, then the tags will sync to your iPhoto library. Comments posted to your Facebook photos are also synced to iPhoto.

Twitter is a social networing site which allows you to post short messages i.e 'Tweets'. You can post a Tweet with a photo attached directly from iPhoto.

Publish your Photos using Messages:

Messages is a chat application that comes with OS X Mountain Lion v10.8. It allows you to share up to 10 photos at a time directly from iPhoto using Messages.

Publish your Photos on your own:

You can export your photos to a simple webpage and upload it to your own server. To do so, choose 'File' and select 'Export', and then click Web Page.
