How to Upload Videos from Mac to Box?

Box Inc. (formerly Box.net) is a personal cloud content management service for businesses. It offers 10GB secure storage space for personal account users. It allows you to invite others to view and edit an accounts shared files.  You can upload photos, videos and documents to a shared file folder and allows other people to view shared files. You can automatically sync files between your computer and the Box website using Box Sync.

Here are the steps to Upload Videos from Mac to Box:

  1. Go to https://www.box.com/ & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
  2. Click "New..." button located at left side of the window.
  3. Select "New Folder" option. Specify a folder name for your video album.
  4. Click "Okay" button.
  5. Click on the folder you created. You will see an empty folder at the moment. It is because you haven't uploaded anything here yet.
  6. Click "Upload" button located left side of the screen to upload videos to this folder.
  7. Select "Upload File" option.
  8. A "File upload" window opens up. Select the videos which you want to upload.
  9. Once your files are successfully uploaded, you will be prompted with a message that says "Upload complete".
  10. You have another option to upload the videos i.e "Drag-and-drop". Here you can simply drag your videos directly from your computer to a location in your Box account.
