How to Upload Raw Files to Box?

Box Inc. is a popular cloud storage service which allows you to upload photos, videos and important documents to access them from anywhere on any smartphone, computer or tablet. Box allows you to upload large files and create a secure link to any file to share with other people via email. You can upload files up to 250 MB in size. It also allows you to upload Raw file to your Box account. But Raw files are big in size and not in the presentation formats. So you need to convert them into a .JPEG format.

Following are the file extensions that are supported by Box: .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .ai, bmp, .eps, .gif, .ind, .ps, .psd, .tif, .tiff.

Here are the steps to Upload Photos to Box:

  1. Go to https://www.box.com/ & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
  2. Click "New..." button located at left side of the screen.
  3. Select "New Folder" option. Specify a folder name for your photo album. Click "Okay" button. This is the folder where your photos will be uploaded.
  4. Click on the folder you created.
  5. Click "Upload" button located left side of the screen to upload photos to this folder.
  6. Select "Upload File" option.
  7. A "File upload" window opens up. Select photos which you want to upload.
  8. You have another option to upload the photos i.e "Drag-and-drop". Here you can simply drag your photos directly from your computer to a location in your Box account.
