Google Photos is a photo and video sharing service provided by Google Inc. It has an Auto Backup feature which allows you to save your device's photos and videos to your Google Photos library, including ones you capture in the future. The photos and videos backed up to Google Photos from your device are private unless you decide to change the privacy setting. The Auto Backup feature is helpful to upload photos and videos to Google Photos automatically.
If you had disabled the Auto Backup feature and want to upload photos to Google Photos from Google Photos, then open "Google Photos" app on your mobile device and tap "+" icon located at the top of the screen. Tap "Album located in the Create New section and select the photos which you want to upload. Tap "Create" button and name your album.
But, if you disabled the Auto Backup feature and want to upload photos to Google Photos account from the mobile device, then you can easily do that. To do so, go to your "Album" or "Gallery" on your mobile device and select the photos which you want to upload. Click "Share" icon located at the top of the screen. You will see a list of applications, select "Google Photos" option. A "Upload to Photos" window opens up. Select your account, if you have multiple accounts in Google Photos and tap "Upload' button. Your photos will now be uploaded to Google Photos account. You can view your uploaded photos on https://photos.google.com/.
