How to Upload Photos and Create an Album in Google Photos?

There are two ways to upload photos to your Google Photos account. You can either create an album and then upload photos or first upload photos and then create an album. To upload photos and then create album, you can use 'Up arrow with cloud' icon located at the top of the window. You can also drop photo files onto Google Photos page to upload your photos.

Following are the steps to Upload Photos and Create an Album in Google Photos:

  1. Go to https://photos.google.com/ & sign in to your account.
  2. Once you have signed in to your account, you will see all your photos and videos.
  3. Click "Up arrow with cloud" icon located at the top of the window.
  4. A "File upload" window opens up. Browse & select photos that you want to upload.
  5. Once your files are successfully uploaded, you will be prompted 2 options i.e "Create album" & "Add to album".
  6. Click "Create album" option to save your photos.
  7. Enter the name for your album.
  8. This is how you can upload photos and then create an album in Google Photos.
