How to Upload Photo Folders from Computer to Google Drive?

There are two ways to upload Photo folders from computer to Google Drive using Chrome. Google Drive has a 'Upload Folder' feature which allows you to upload an entire folder with all sub-folders and files. This feature is available only in Google Chrome not on other web browsers. You can also create new folder to backup photo folder by clicking 'Make New Folder' option.

Here are the steps to Upload Photo Folders from Computer to Google Drive using Chrome:

  1. Go to https://drive.google.com & sign in to your account.
  2. Click "New" button located at the left side of window.
  3. Select "Folder Upload" option.
  4. If you see "Enable folder upload" option, then you will need to update Google Chrome to the latest version.
  5. A "Browser for Folder" window opens up.
  6. Select the photo folder which you want to upload.
  7. Click "Ok" button.
  8. You will see a box which shows the progress of your photo folder upload.
  9. Click the folder name to open the folder.
