How to Setup iCloud Photo Stream on Windows Computer?

Photo Stream is built into the 'Photos' app and it is a part of iCloud which allows you to sync your photos any time. Photo Stream will store up to 1000 photos or 30 days of photos at a time. If you are using Windows PC, you need to download and install 'iCloud Control Panel' software on your computer. When you setup iCloud Photo Stream on Windows PC, you will be able to see photos that you click on iPhone or iPad directly to your Windows PC.

Following are the steps to Setup iCloud Photo Stream on Windows Computer:

  1. Go to https://www.icloud.com/ & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
  2. Go to http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1455 and download the "iCloud Control Panel" software from Apple.
  3. Install "iCloud Control Panel" software on your Windows computer.
  4. Launch "iCloud Control Panel".
  5. Setup your iCloud account.
  6. Check the box next to "Photos" to enable Photo Stream.
  7. Click "options" button located net to "Photos".
  8. Check mark "My Photo Stream" and "Automatic Import" options.
  9. Click "Apply" button.
