How to Set up Automatic iCloud Uploading Using OS X Yosemite?

Setting up iMovie Theater and iCloud is easy. You must be signed in to iCloud account. If you are signed in to iCloud, then video clips, trailers and movies shared to iMovie Theater are automatically uploaded to iCloud. You can access those video clips, trailers and movies on your other computer or iOS device. You can turn OFF automatic uploading and upload the video clips which you want to upload to iCloud. It also allows you to delete individual video clips, trailers and movies from iCloud.

Here are the steps to Set up Automatic iCloud Uploading Using OS X Yosemite:

  1. Go to https://www.icloud.com/ & sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, then create one.
  2. Choose "Apple" menu on your Mac computer.
  3. Select "System Preferences" option.
  4. Click "iCloud".
  5. Enter login ID and password to sign in to your iCloud account.
  6. Select "iCloud Drive" checkbox.
  7. Click "Options" button located next to iCloud Drive.
  8. You will see a "Documents" pane.
  9. Select "iMovie" checkbox.
  10. Open "iMovie" on your Mac.
  11. Select "Preferences" option.
  12. Select "Automatically upload content to iCloud" checkbox.
  13. This is how you can set up automatic iCloud uploading using OS X Yosemite.
