How to Import Photos and Videos from iPhone to Mac using Photos OS X?

Importing photos and videos from iPhone to Mac using Photos OS X is easy. To do so, connect your iPhone to Mac computer and open "Photos" app. Click "File" menu and select "Import" option. If you want to import selected photos, then you can click "Import Selected" button. If you want to import all new photos, then click "Import All New Photos" button. Once your photos and videos are imported, eject the iPhone from your computer. Do not eject an iPhone while the photos and videos are being imported.

Following are the steps to Import Photos and Videos from iPhone to Mac using Photos OS X:

  1. Connect your iPhone to Mac using USB cable that came along with your iPhone.
  2. Open "Photos" app on your Mac.
  3. Click "File" tab.
  4. Choose "Import" option.
